Console Sink with Festoon Carving and an Inset Panel Top

A close companion to the ribbon and rosette console in the collection, this sink carries a similar dark inset top panel over an apron carved with ribbon tied festoon swags stepping down either side of a raised, plainer centre bay. The two straight panelled legs are left largely undecorated, letting the carved band across the top do all the work. Photographed against black.
